I can promise that we learn far more from just being alive than when we are in a classroom. And as long as we are alive, we never stop learning. I believe the biggest question everyone should ask themselves is: "What does learning mean to me?"
My experience with education has been shaped and reshaped as I've grown older. I'm beginning to understand that education is what you make it to be as it pertains to your interests. I've accepted, that learning is supposed to be both a vulnerable and enlightening experience. Learning requires vulnerability as it forces you to "unbecome" everything you are so that you're abundant in receiving everything you can be.
I tend to think that I know everything. Although this is certainly not true, I know I feel this way because "knowing everything" makes me feel empowered. It makes me feel confident. Knowing that I have an unlimited amount of resources to obtain as much information I can about any topic that I desire makes me motivated to accomplish anything.
Learning and growth feed into individuality. Everyone will experience education in a different way. They will find avenues that speak them and develop an understanding through a multitude of outlets; whether that be a podcast, youtube videos, books, webinars, etc…
Often when people think of education, they think of textbooks, grumpy teachers, and whiteboards. There's this connotation that learning is an obligation as opposed to an opportunity. But the point of learning - which unfortunately isn't stressed enough - is that it should mean something to you. It should inspire you to become the person you've always wanted to be.
